PT Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta is increasing headway time to 10 minutes starting on Monday (3/1) for all operating hours in connection with the implementation of the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

Operational and Maintenance Director Muhammad Effendi uttered that all forms of adjustments to the applicable operational schedule were a form of support for the government's efforts in curbing the pandemic.

He added the MRT's initial commitment was to continuously provide optimal service, and to function as a provider of public transportation to facilitate all forms of mobile community activities, especially in Jakarta.
Nevertheless, they urged all residents to be disciplined in implementing health protocols in the MRT Jakarta environment.
